36. Anna the prophetess, nee Phanuel, tribe of Asher. A woman with a proper
genealogy in Israel. She too waited for the 1st coming of the Messiah. She
waited for MARANATHA!
ü To
cry MARANATHA I must be a man/woman of
genealogy; confirmed member of the new
race, not of the adamic race.
Establish
me
in the genealogy of the new race. Make me a new creation indeed.
Make
my life traceable through the full Gospel. Confirm my new
nationality.
Make me a full blown partaker of the divine nature- A
carrier of Christ's life
Anna started young and was consistent to
her old age. Short lived comfort of marriage did not shake her consistence.
rather, it firmed it up. Her widowhood became a great weapon for her to achieve
God's purpose and make her a woman of destiny, reported by heaven.
ü Make me consistent in seeking Your coming despite
my changing situations.
Help me see every circumstance of my
life as an implement to achieve
destiny.
my gender, status, health condition,
wealth, poverty, ethnicity, knowledge, etc. All are great weapons for a focused and consistent MARANATHA crier.
Sharpen
all my implements
through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Make me focused on the return
of my LORD as Anna was on HIS birth- Phil3:12-14
Anna was connected to God and to people.
She did not isolate herself to live a lonely life despite her great challenges
early in life.
Loneliness
is a disease of our time, helped by
technology- iPods, iPads, Social media, etc.
People under the same roof yet barely
communicate in person. LONELINESS!
- Anna a woman in a family
- Anna a young wife
- Anna a sister in the temple, people
heard her prophesy
- Anna a preacher of the Gospel, she
spread the good news of Jesus' arrival to people.
A connected woman at all times. You cannot cry MARANATHA! if you cut
connection either with God or with people, or both.
ü Connect me
properly with You through the power
of Your Word and Spirit.
Connect me properly with the brethren
through my discipleship. Let me grow
well.
Connect me properly with the sinners
through the preaching of the Gospel.
Let
my life cry MARANATHA to heaven and also on earth.
