I am Come!

John 10:10

KJV - The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

NIV - The thief come only to steal and kill and destroy: I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. (NIV)

AMP -  The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows). (AMP)

Jesus and the thief (the enemy of our soul) have come. Their coming to mankind is not arbitrary. The reason for their coming is clearly outlined. Any man living outside Christ CANNOT claim to have and enjoy life in abundance, to the full and overflowing

Life does not exist in a vacuum so whose side are you on?

Whose cause are you propagating?

What are you doing about the destination of the souls of men?

Are you a follower of Christ? Are you living to further His Cause?

Reflect on your life.

Are you harbouring bitterness in your heart; nursing malice; living in hypocrisy; unforgiveness; pampering sinful habits; lying e.t.c? Heb. 12:15

If YES, you are rejecting, disdaining and making light the death of Jesus Christ at Calvary. You are toying with your place in eternity.

Prayer Point

• Pray for a heart revelation that allows you see JESUS afresh and clearly at Calvary.

• Ask God to take away EVERYTHING that is secretly taking over our lives and not allowing us to give ourselves wholly to JESUS.

• Pray that you will carry and reflect the heart of JESUS that is burdened for lost souls. Make me a true witness by life and my actions.

• Ask the LORD to rid you of everything that will make you lose your place in eternity.

• Col. 1:22 Grant us grace to abide inside Christ and be presented holy, blameless and without reproach in HIS sight.

• Phil 2:15 Help me remain inside Christ - blameless and harmless, without fault and to shine as light in the world.

• Pray that you will hear and see God speaking particularly to you to GO YE to announce LIFE ETERNAL that JESUS promised to all who come to HIM.

Go! Further the cause of Jesus your Lord! 

Offer men through the Mystery of the Gospel, LIFE to the full and overflowing.

11 And, behold, there was a woman, which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.
12 And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.
13 And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.
14 And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the Sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the Sabbath day.
15 The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the Sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?
16 And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day? 17 And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.

Prayer Points

• Lord, let me be found growing roots deep inside Christ when You return for Your bride.
• Jesus, when You come to check the sanctuary of my heart; let me be glorifying and bearing Christ in my vessel.
• May Christ never lament over my life and my household saying why is this family, being heirs of salvation still bound by Satan.
• Remove from me now all that will disqualify me from going home with my Bridegroom.
• Verse16: And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day.

Pray for your household:

• Is your household joint heirs with the Son?

• Are they by faith in Christ Jesus enjoying complete deliverance from Satan, sin, sinful habits and the world system?

• Is any bowed together and unable to lift him/her self-up so as to glorify God?

• Are they bound by mere religion; giving allegiance to a man or an organisation instead of being married in their spirit to Christ?

When Christ comes will HE lament over His bride - the Church?

• Pray that Jesus’ sacrifice on Calvary will not be in vain.
• That His full and comprehensive provision for our deliverance will not be ignored whilst chasing shadows and sinking sand.
• Pray for a rain of the full truth of the Word of God that brings men to see the man of Calvary and the resurrected Christ.
• Pray that Christ will not lament over souls that would have done valiantly if they remained in Christ but are still trapped under Satan’s grip.
• Ask that the Mysterious and superior Gospel will find its way back to our pews and pulpits.
• Pray that we will be helped and enabled to be true and faithful witnesses of the resurrected Christ.

Two Types of Channels

There Are Two Types of Channels: Which One Are You?

Are you a channel like Simeon who did not go to sleep but waited until he saw the Lord at his duty post (the temple), or are you a channel like Peter and the two sons of Zebedee whom Jesus relied on to keep watch with Him but slept off at their duty post when the Master needed them the most?

FIRST CHANNEL

Luke 2:22, 25-35 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV) 

The time came for Mary and Joseph to do the things the Law of Moses taught about being made pure.  They brought Jesus to Jerusalem so that they could present him to the Lord.

²⁵ A man named Simeon lived in Jerusalem. He was a good man who was devoted to God. He was waiting for the time when God would come to help Israel. The Holy Spirit was with him. ²⁶ The Holy Spirit told him that he would not die before he saw the Messiah from the Lord. ²⁷ The Spirit led Simeon to the Temple. So he was there when Mary and Joseph brought the baby Jesus to do what the Jewish law said they must do. ²⁸ Simeon took the baby in his arms and thanked God: ²⁹ “Now, Lord, you can let me, your servant; die in peace as you said. ³⁰ I have seen with my own eyes how you will save your people.³¹ Now all people can see your plan. ³² He is a light to show your way to the other nations. And he will bring honor to your people Israel.” ³³ Jesus’ father and mother were amazed at what Simeon said about him. ³⁴ Then Simeon blessed them and said to Mary, “Many Jews will fall and many will rise because of this boy. He will be a sign from God that some will not accept. ³⁵ So the secret thoughts of many will be made known. And the things that happen will be painful for you—like a sword cutting through your heart.”

SECOND CHANNEL

Matthew 26:36-41 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV)
Then Jesus went with his followers to a place called Gethsemane. He said to them, “Sit here while I go there and pray.” ³⁷ He told Peter and the two sons of Zebedee to come with him. Then he began to be very sad and troubled. ³⁸ Jesus said to Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, “My heart is so heavy with grief, I feel as if I am dying. Wait here and stay awake with me.” ³⁹ Then Jesus went on a little farther away from them. He fell to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, don’t make me drink from this cup. But do what you want, not what I want.” ⁴⁰ Then he went back to his followers and found them sleeping. He said to Peter, “Could you men not stay awake with me for one hour? ⁴¹ Stay awake and pray for strength against temptation. Your spirit wants to do what is right, but your body is weak.”

De-cluttering is a process of preparing yourself to be pure for the Lord’s occupation. In our getting ready (de-cluttering) to become channels for the Lord, let us consider the following as what God expects from us, the type of people we should surround ourselves with and what we are being prepared for as we wait for the Lord. 

From the above Scriptures, what does God want to make out of us? 
Like Simeon:

• God wants us to be devoted to Him, wait and be expectant for the time when He would come (Maranatha). He wants us to stay awake and pray for strength against temptation.

• God wants His Holy Spirit to be in us and be led by Him always. God wants to abide in us and us in Him.

• God wants us to be sensitive and alert in the spirit. Simeon did not miss Jesus’ first visit to the temple. He stood in the gap until Jesus was born and brought to the temple. He did not give up or have peace until he saw Jesus face to face.

• Simeon made sure he had an encounter with Jesus before he died. He touched Him and carried Him.

• Just like Jesus was presented to the Lord in the temple, we should always present ourselves to the Lord for de-cluttering as a temple of God always.

• Jesus is the Light to the nations; we are to be lights to nations and the people around us.

• Like Jesus, let us get our minds ready for the rise and fall of many, be a sign from God that many will not accept because the secret thoughts of many we think we know well will be made known to us. When we show them this, they will not welcome us.

• When these things starts to happen, be ready to bear the pain like a sword cutting through the heart just like Mary did.

• We have to stay awake and pray for strength against temptations always and not surround ourselves with sleeping friends at the time of our need.

• We should always learn to say, “Channels only, blessed Master, but with all Thy wondrous power flowing through me, Thou canst use me every day and every hour.”

LET US PRAY

• Thank the Lord for choosing us to be His channels.

• Thank our Father for buying us to possess us, so that we can attain His fullness.

• Thank our Saviour Jesus Christ for setting us free from self and sin.

• Thank our God because it was His love that laid hold of us and not our works of righteousness or charitable ones.

• Let us thank our Father for saving, cleansing and filling us that we might be His channels.

• Let us ask the Lord to make us clean vessels always in His hand.

• Ask the Lord to fill you with His Spirit again, with the heart that will fully surrender to Him so that the stream of living water from your inner man may flow.

• Let us ask for strength to stay awake like Simeon, so we do not fall into temptation as we wait for His coming (MARANATHA) in Jesus’ name.

• Thank the Lord for hearing our prayers in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Esther 2:8-18

Gleanings

Queen Vashti’s disobedience caused her throne to be vacant; she was put aside and a search started for someone else.
Some young virgin women became fortunate by selection to enter into the palace. An opportunity that would have otherwise be non existent.
These young women amidst others were offered a fair chance to become queen. A status they never laboured for.
They only had to meet the requirement of 12 months of preparation to qualify them to meet with the King.
It appears these young women lost sight of the only reason that enabled them come to the palace.
They were presented with whatever they requested after their 12 months was completed before going unto the King. But the preparation seemed merely as an external exercise.
Their appetites; shallow character; passions; ambitions were tested and it seemed they saw an opportunity to satisfy their lusts.
None of them found favor with the King; they were sent to the other house as concubines, the living dead; women who may never fulfil their destiny or call etc.
They started off as young virgins but ended up as discarded and displaced concubines.

 What About You?

Was it not grace that hand picked you, out of many other who were wallowing in darkness?Was it not grace that afforded you, a nobody, the privilege to enter into Light?

Was it not grace that upgraded your status from a sinner, to one whom the Lord will allow to touch His Work and become His Bride?

His only request is that you de-clutter? That you make sure this is simply not an external exercise. That when you are tried and tested- Your only request is Christ, No more, No less!That when presented with an open cheque - ALL traces of the old nature (sin, sinful habits and the world system) finds no root or resting place in you.

May my one and only desire be, to gain Christ, nothing else will do.De-cluttering must empty me of the man of sin; the products of sin and the habitation where sin reigns! Only then will I find favour before my KING!!!!

 Prayer Points

• Jesus, be my focus, my goal and my inheritance. Help me never to forget the reason I was born again and called to de-cluttering:- to be made fit for my KING and prepared for holy use.
• My de-cluttering must not merely be an external exercise but a progressive renewing of the mind until I look like Jesus.
• Let the proof of my de-cluttering be a progressive emptying of Self; hatred of Sin and Sinful Habits and death to the World System.
• Grant me grace like Esther who post de-cluttering requested nothing but what the King’s eunuch advised.
• Let nothing of the World have any root in me. May I genuinely only hunger and thirst for righteousness. 
• Forbid it Lord, that post de-cluttering; I will still be discarded.
• Lord!, I want nothing else than to be ready when the bridegroom comes!!
• Lord, help my life so that at the end I will gain and inherit Jesus. Let the privilege given me of a divine heart transplant not be wasted or abused.

Busy! But not Feeding the Sheep

Today’s prayer is for the following people:

• The one servant the master trusted to give the other servants their food and supplies at the right time (proper time) as we wait for Christ’s arrival.
• The one person his master has put in charge of his household (the home front)
• The one Teacher in academics to the students
• The one Sunday school teacher to the children etc.

 John 21:15-17Amplified Bible (AMP) ¹⁵ So when they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of John, do you love Me more than these [others do( other men)—with total commitment and devotion]?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You (Phileo) [with a deep, personal affection, as for a close friend].” Jesus said to him, “Feed My lambs.” ¹⁶ Again He said to him a second time, “Simon, son of John, do you love Me (Agapao) [with total commitment and devotion]?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You (Phileo)[with a deep, personal affection, as for a close friend].” Jesus said to him, “Shepherd My sheep.”(Other version says Take care of my sheep) ¹⁷ He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of John, do you love Me (Phileo)[ [with a deep, personal affection for Me, as for a close friend]?” Peter was grieved that He asked him the third time, “Do you [really] love Me [with a deep, personal affection, as for a close friend]?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know everything; You know that I love You(Phileo)  [with a deep, personal affection, as for a close friend].” Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep.

In the above scriptures we can see Jesus addressing two types of love: Phileo love which is love with a deep, personal affection, as for a close friend and Agapao (Agape)love which is love with total commitment and devotion. 

• In our service to Jesus as THE ONE servant who is meant to be feeding the sheep / the lamb of Jesus; Jesus is asking you today, how are you doing this? Is it with a Phileo love or with an Agapao love? Busy! But not feeding the sheep. 

Matthew 24:45 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV) ⁴⁵ “Who is the wise and trusted servant? The master trusts one servant to give the other servants their food at the right time. Who is the one the master trusts to do that work? 

Matthew 20:5-7 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV) ⁵ So they went to work in the vineyard. “The man went out again about twelve o’clock and again at three o’clock. Both times he hired some others to work in his vineyard. ⁶ About five o’clock the man went to the marketplace again. He saw some other people standing there. He asked them, ‘Why did you stand here all day doing nothing?’⁷ “They said, ‘No one gave us a job.’ “The man said to them, ‘then you can go and work in my vineyard.’

• When THE ONE servant who is meant to be feeding the sheep and the lamb did not do it, another “ONE SERVANT” gave them a job to do; whether good or bad.  Busy! But not feeding the sheep.

 Luke 13:6-9 ⁶ Jesus told this story: “A man had a fig tree (GOD). He planted it in his garden (GOD’S VINE YARD). He (GOD)came looking for some fruit on it, but he found none. ⁷ He had a servant (YOU) who took care of his garden. So he said to his servant, ‘I have been looking for fruit on this tree for three years, but I never find any. Cut it down! Why should it waste the ground?’ ⁸ But the servant answered, ‘Master, let the tree have one more year to produce fruit. Let me dig up the dirt around it and fertilize it. ⁹ Maybe the tree will have fruit on it next year. If it still does not produce, then you can cut it down.’”

• The Lord in His mercy is giving YOU THE ONE SERVANT whom the Lord has apportion a child (children) to, a home to, a business to sponsor is work, a garden to tender, a tree to cultivate so that when He comes to look for food on it, He will find food to eat thereof. This is a second chance for you before he cuts you and the tree down.
• At this junction we need to go to the Lord in prayers for help. Busy! But not feeding the sheep.

PRAYERS:

• Let’s thank the Lord for His truth which has come to us again Busy! But not feeding the sheep.

• Let’s thank the Lord because the scriptures says He whom the Lord loves, He chasten, and scourge. Hebrew 12:6
•  Let’s thank him because of His love and mercy to help us again as wise servants.
• Let’s ask him for wisdom to go about this work of THE ONE SERVANT.

Matthew 25:29-30 (KJV)²⁹ For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.

• O Lord please don’t take away that which I have as a result of my negligence/ carelessness in Jesus name

³⁰ And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

• Help me O Lord, because this will not be my portion in Jesus name.

John15: 1  KJV ¹ I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.² Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

• Purge me O Lord to bring forth more fruit as THE ONE SERVANT in Jesus name.

³ Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. ⁴ Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.⁵ I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

• As THE ONE SERVANT Lord, clean me daily through your spoken word and teach me to abide in you and you in me in Jesus name.

⁶ If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. ⁷ If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

• Standing on this word Lord Jesus, I ask  as your ONE SERVANT whom you are relying on to feed you’re your sheep that I will not be a cast away, I will not wither and  men will not gather me and cast me into fire in Jesus name.

⁸ Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.⁹ As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.¹⁰ If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

• Lord Jesus, through the help of the Holy Spirit in me, help me to keep your commandments and continue in your love just like you did with the Father while you were on earth in Jesus name.

¹¹ These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.¹² This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. ¹³ Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

• O Lord my Father, in my pursuit of your commandments and love for you and my fellow brethren; please let your joy remain in me and be full in Jesus name.

¹⁴ Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.¹⁵ Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

• Call me your friend from today henceforth Lord Jesus and help my life to become a friend to you in Jesus name.
• Thank you Father because I will no longer be called Busy! But not feeding the sheep. In Jesus name.
• Thank you Father, thank you Lord Jesus, thank you Holy Spirit for the grace to become your ONE AND ONLY TRUSTED SERVANT in Jesus name. Amen.

What Ship is Carrying You?

Scripture: Matthew 14: 20- 32 

Prayer Points

• Lord, please constrain me to come on the ship and permit events that will bring me to the midst of the sea and contrary winds so that I see my true self. Empty me of everything I am standing on that is not JESUS.
• Whilst in the midst of the sea; help me see that vain is the help of man; that all other ground is sinking sand and woe is he who goes to Egypt for help. Isa. 31:1; 2 Chron. 32:7-9; Psalm. 60:11
• Jesus, may I ever be indebted to You. When all else failed- You appeared to me walking on this same turbulent sea. Oh! My High Priest who has walked every path of life that I will walk on yet sinless and victorious.
• My following Jesus must not produce in me a great historian with stacks of information. The very life of Jesus in me must be flesh; real; dynamic; effectual and tangible. Men must behold His glory in me- Make me full of Jesus (Grace and Truth). John 1:14
• Lord, You are eagerly awaiting Your bride!!! Help me know that the only means to You is via Jesus- The Mystery of the Gospel.
• Every time You want to show men the way You live it out first so that it is easy to imitate You. Crystallise this principle in my heart. Acts 1:1b, Matt. 14:24-29
• Our relatable High Priest !!! Thank You Lord!!!! Jesus came in the flesh; Jesus died on the Cross; Jesus was buried; Jesus rose again on the third day; Jesus was seen of witnesses; Jesus ascended to heaven; Jesus sent us the Holy Spirit; Jesus gave us the platform of discipleship; Jesus is coming back for His Church and Jesus has made us a chosen generation. 
• Grant me a heart revelation of this great Miracle of walking on water- the Mystery of the Gospel as the means to come to You. Help me like Peter latch onto faith to come out of my ship and walk into all the segments of the Mystery of the Gospel so I can reach You when Your trumpet sounds.
• Baptise me thoroughly into all the segments of the Mystery of the Gospel. Unbelief, fear, rationalising or the boisterous winds of the world must not make me lose site of my journey to be with You eternally.

The Heart/Mind and Maranatha (The Word is Coming)

1 Corinthians 16:22 (KJV) ²² If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.

Philippians 4:5 (KJV) ⁵ Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
James 5:8-9(KJV) ⁸ Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh. ⁹ Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.

The word MARANATHA consists of two Aramean words, Maran'athah, meaning, "our Lord comes," or is "coming." If the latter interpretation is adopted, with the above scriptures added; the meaning of the phrase will be, "OUR LORD IS COMING, AND HE WILL JUDGE THOSE WHO HAVE SET HIM AT NOUGHT."

• The big question, who are those that have set Him at nought (nothing or Zero)?

Today, I want us to reconsider the matter of our hearts in line with our knowledge and understanding of the scriptures as we wait for the coming of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ.

• Have we set at nothing the sayings or advice of Jesus to us via the scriptures?
• Are we in error or mistake because we know not the scriptures or the Power of God?

Matthew 22:29 (KJV) ²⁹ Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
New International Version ²⁹ Jesus replied, "You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God.
New Living Translation ²⁹Jesus replied, "Your mistake is that you don't know the Scriptures, and you don't know the power of God.

• How are we receiving the word of God that is coming our way?

Matthew 13:10-15  Easy-to-Read (ERV) ¹⁰ The followers came to Jesus and asked, “Why do you use these stories to teach the people?” ¹¹ Jesus answered, “Only you can know the secret truths about God’s kingdom. Those other people cannot know these secret truths. ¹² The people who have some understanding will be given more. And they will have even more than they need. But those who do not have much understanding will lose even the little understanding that they have. ¹³ This is why I use these stories to teach the people: they see, but they don’t really see. They hear, but they don’t really hear or understand. ¹⁴ So they show that what Isaiah said about them is true: ‘You people will listen and listen, but you will not understand. You will look and look, but you will not really see. ¹⁵ YES, THE MINDS OF THESE PEOPLE ARE NOW CLOSED. They have ears, but they don’t listen. They have eyes, but they refuse to see. IF THEIR MINDS WERE NOT CLOSED, they might see with their eyes; they might hear with their ears; they might understand with their minds. Then they might turn back to me and be healed.’

• The Lord brought to my mind on Saturday morning on my way to Eltham Discipleship class about the matter of the heart and the word of God. He said we should raise a heart cry on it today .The example He brought to me was the issue of Judas Iscariot and the bread Jesus gave to the twelve disciples when He was about going to the cross. The bread opened the eyes of the eleven but shut the eyes of Judas because of his heart (mind) and this led to his destruction; a disciple in the same discipleship class as the eleven. When we got to the discipleship centre, it was all about the heart. How we see the truth. The real white from the off white colour. So, after seeing the real white, what are we still doing with the off white colour? Then came the mystery of the gospel platform in the evening, it was about the matter of the heart; the heart transplant.

Matthew 16:5-12  Easy –to-Read (ERV) ⁵ Jesus and his followers went across the lake. But the followers forgot to bring bread. ⁶ Jesus said to the followers, “BE CAREFUL! GUARD AGAINST THE YEAST OF THE PHARISEES AND THE SADDUCEES.” ⁷ The followers discussed the meaning of this. They said, “Did Jesus say this because we forgot to bring bread?” ⁸ Jesus knew that they were talking about this. So he asked them, “WHY ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT NOT HAVING BREAD? YOUR FAITH IS SMALL. ⁹ Do you still not understand? Remember the five loaves of bread that fed the 5000 people and the many baskets you filled with the bread that was left? ¹⁰ And remember the seven loaves of bread that fed the 4000 people and the many baskets you filled that time? ¹¹ So how could you think that I am concerned about bread? I AM TELLING YOU TO BE CAREFUL AND GUARD AGAINST THE YEAST OF THE PHARISEES AND THE SADDUCEES.” ¹² Then the followers understood what Jesus meant. He was not telling them to guard against the yeast used in bread. HE WAS TELLING THEM TO GUARD AGAINST THE TEACHING OF THE PHARISEES AND THE SADDUCEES.

• How are you hearing the words of Jesus? THE WORD AND THE MIND.

Mark 4:22-25New Living Translation (NLT) ²² For everything that is hidden will eventually be brought into the open, and every secret will be brought to light. ²³ ANYONE WITH EARS TO HEAR SHOULD LISTEN AND UNDERSTAND.”  ²⁴ Then he added, “PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO WHAT YOU HEAR. THE CLOSER YOU LISTEN, THE MORE UNDERSTANDING YOU WILL BE GIVEN—AND YOU WILL RECEIVE EVEN MORE. ²⁵ To those who listen to my teaching, more understanding will be given. But for those who are not listening, even what little understanding they have will be taken away from them.”
Brothers and sisters we want to go to the Lord in prayers with the matter of our minds.
Jesus said pay close attention to what you hear; the closer you listen, the more understanding you will be given.
Who are you listening to? What is your mind hearing that is stealing it away from its readiness of the Lord’s coming?

• For Judas: it was power, it was love for money, it was greed, eye service etc.
• For the Pharisees and Sadducees: it was position, it was domination, it was slavery, it was rigidity to Mosaic Law, it was the threat of the truth Jesus was bringing etc.
• For Eve it was good for food, pleasant to the eyes, desired to make one wise etc.

PRAYERS
Matthew 22:29 New Living Translation ²⁹Jesus replied, "Your mistake is that you don't know the Scriptures, and you don't know the power of God.

• Let’s thank God for bringing knowledge and the truth of His word to us again. The Bible says my people perish for lack of knowledge.
• Let’s thank the Lord again because He will help us through the Holy Spirit to know His power in the name of Jesus.
• Let’s ask the Lord that in our waiting for His coming (Maranatha), that He should help us to be wise and not foolish in knowing and receiving His words in Jesus name.
• The Hymn writer said Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it, Prone to leave the God I love; is what my heart wants to always do. Let’s ask the Lord to take our hearts and seal it, Seal it for His courts above in the name of Jesus.

 Jesus said in Matthew 13: ¹² The people who have some understanding will be given more. And they will have even more than they need. But those who do not have much understanding will lose even the little understanding that they have.

• Lord Jesus, help me to have much understanding of your word and don’t let me lose the little understanding I have of you. Please give me your understanding heart and more than I do need in Jesus name.
• Father, please do not let me be lost, but through patient, establish my heart for your coming in Jesus name.
• As your follower O Lord, please let me know the secret truths about your Kingdom in Jesus name.

Matthew 13:15 Easy-to-Read (ERV) ¹⁵ Yes, the minds of these people are now closed. 
They have ears, but they don’t listen. They have eyes, but they refuse to see. If their minds were not closed, they might see with their eyes; they might hear with their ears; they might understand with their minds. Then they might turn back to me and be healed.’

• In readiness of your coming O Lord, please search my mind again and open it where it might have been closed to you or your words in Jesus name. Let it turn back to you again and be healed in Jesus name.

Philippians 4:5 (KJV) ⁵ Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

• Let your moderation in my life beginning to radiate to all men from now in Jesus name.
