⁷And the Lord said unto Satan, “Whence comest thou?" Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, “From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.” (KJV)

⁷ The Lord asked him, “What have you been doing?” Satan answered, “I have been walking here and there, roaming around the earth.” (GNV)

⁷ The Lord said to Satan, “Where have you come from?” And Satan answered the Lord, “From roving about on the earth, and from walking back and forth across it.” (NET)

Eternal One (to the Accuser): ⁷Where have you been?

The Accuser: Oh, roaming here and there, running about the earth and observing its inhabitants. (The Voice)

1 John 4:1-4  

¹Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

² Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

³ And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

⁴ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Matthew 11:28-30

Don't be a disciple of the restless man in this end time. Come to Jesus!

²⁸ Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

²⁹ Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

³⁰ For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

Hebrews 4:1-12

Labour to enter into His rest.

Lord, remove the restless man and all his relics from my life.
Make my life a no go area for the devil as he goes to and fro the earth.
Lord, count me among Your overcomers. Make me Your disciple. Give me Your rest.
Give me courage to labour, burying all dead works out of sight so I can enter into Your rest and Your finished work.
Lord, at Your return, find me inside Your rest here and take me to Your REST there. 

Have You Seen My Servant?

(Job 1. tune: “Must I Go And Empty Handed?”)

1. There was once a man so upright

Feared his God and shunned evil.

Sacrificed for sons and daughters,

Prosperous man from Uz called Job.

Have you seen My righteous servant?

Have you sensed his upright heart?

He will not forsake or curse Me

Nor rebel against My will.

2. God’s angels themselves presented,

God’s enemy came there too.

“Whence comest thou?” Asked the great God

“To and fro on earth” said he.

3. Of Job God’s account was glorious,

Tested, tried, afflicted sore

Yet Job stood his ground, God’s sample;

Would not bow to restless man.

4. God still searches for His samples,

Sons and daughters of His heart,

Will you cling to Jesus only;

Be a trophy on His shelf?

5. This has been my only heartcry,

Lord make me Thy sample please,

Evacuated, filled with Jesus;

To my world Thy specimen!

John 1:12

¹²But as many as received Him, to them gave He power, the right, the authority, the privilege to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name.

What is this right, this authority, this privilege?

Right:              

Freedom to act like God; freedom to respond like God in any given situation; capacity to do away with every dead work. We are no longer bound.

Authority:       

Power to carry out the act; the strength, the force of heaven is behind us.

Privilege:        

Special advantage or immunity available to a particular group of people.

1 Thessalonians 5:8, 17  

⁸But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation.

¹⁷ pray without ceasing,

Ephesians 6:10-18

¹⁰ Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. ¹¹ Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. ¹² For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. ¹³ Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. ¹⁴ Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of   righteousness; ¹⁵ And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

¹⁶ Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. ¹⁷ And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: ¹⁸ Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.

PRAYER

Lord, let grace help me and teach me to:

• Successfully resist and stand my ground in these evil days. 
• Stand firm in my place in Christ, fully prepared, immovable, victorious, not shifting my stance in the finished work of Calvary.
• Gird myself with the belt of truth, the complete gospel, not the errors that are going about in my generation.
• Put on the breast plate of righteousness, faith and love to protect my heart from a guilty conscience. To stand with an upright heart trusting in the finished works of Calvary alone not my own works. 
• Be ready to go and preach the gospel to everyone I meet. Grant me boldness to preach and compassion for the lost 
• Take the shield of faith, to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 
• To put on the helmet of salvation, by allowing all the aspects of the full gospel to be at work in my life by faith.
• To take the sword of the spirit, spending time eating the Word of God personally.
• To pray without ceasing. Holy Spirit, establish your desire, a longing and the ability to pray inside of me.
