My Help Comes From The Lord

Join this HeartCry Prayer- Every Monday 11.30am-1.30pm (UK time)

PSALM 121

The end of the age is upon us |Matthew 23:3-44

59.5 million people have been displaced in the world as at June 2015.
Christians are among the majority and persecution is at an all-time high.
The time has come for the world and its systems to make us the scape goat.
The time has come when we will be targeted directly or indirectly for our faith.
Even now, we cannot live as Christians or preach the gospel freely or declare the word of God as it is without being tagged as intolerant and offensive or being killed and bombed depending on which part of the world you are.
Even now, many in areas of the world previously shut to the gospel are being reached and are becoming saved.

Why do I need divine help? | Matthew 23

Jesus said:
Vs 22 ‘And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened’.

Vs 24 ‘For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect’.

Vs 9 & 10 ‘Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another’.

Vs 13 ‘But he who endures to the end shall be saved’.

Prayer Points |Help me Lord, I must not be deceived

If you are able to, please go on Your knees; let us literarily look up to the Lord this day. Let us turn our gaze upon Him and ask for help for this Maranatha journey.
Lord, at every point on this my Maranatha journey  and please send me help (appropriate, timely, suitable, fitting, proper help).
Lord, even today, I ask for the help I need for the current issues of my life, my family and my church.
Lord, help me, do not let me and my household be deceived. I ask for future help to carry me on this journey as I wait for you appearance.

Prayer Points| Holy Spirit my helper

Lord, help me to recognise , accept and make use of Your help. (Jacob in Gen 28:16)

John 14:15 & 17And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counsellor, Strengthener, Standby), to be with you forever- the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive [and take to its heart] because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He (the Holy Spirit) remains with you continually and will be in you.’

Do not let me become overly familiar and trivialise Your help via the Holy Ghost.
Do not let me ignore, overlook or disregard the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
Do not let me belittle the Holy Spirit and His role on this journey.

Prayer points| Help me Holy Spirit, I must not be offended with Jesus

Mat 11: 1-6 John the Baptist

Dear Holy Spirit, help me not to be offended when it seems as if Your help is not coming forth. Help me to rest secure in You irrespective of supposed unanswered prayers.
Dear Holy Spirit, help me not to be a sign board for others and yet not follow through with you.
Dear Holy Spirit, please help me so that I will not need to keep repeating a class over and over again in my walk with you.

Prayer points| Holy Spirit, help me to endure till the end

Mat 25:1-13 The 10 virgins

Dear Holy Spirit help to endure until the end, teach me to come to the throne of grace to receive this help from you on a moment by moment basis
Since you don’t slumber briefly or sleep soundly, and I may sleep or slumber like the 10 virgins, please dear Holy Spirit, send me a reservoir of Your help, Your oil and Your wine in Jesus name.
Fill  my cup with the oil of divine help and an extra measure of grace - enough quota of oil for this journey.
Don’t let my oil finish; don’t let my oil run dry. Let me come daily to fill up with you.

Lord, I pray in advance for help, for grace, for oil , for wine overflowing, should the bridegroom tarry.
