Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” 5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.” 6 And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. 7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. Revelation 21:1-7

- Who has put their children into a school not bothering to check the school rating and report; the environment; or the calibre of its teachers?
- Will any of us go blindly into a relationship without finding out about the other person; without prayers; without counsel etc?
- No sound teacher instructs without highlighting the risks/benefits or advantages/disadvantages of a product.
Jesus likewise makes it clear what He has to offer all those who come and thrust their lives to Him. Jesus is offering Himself to us; He promises to be our Father, our God, our inheritance and our reward {2 Cor. 6:17-18; Gen. 15:1; Rev. 21:3).
Every company, school, human being advertise what they have to offer as this is primarily what convinces people whether to follow. Decisions are made on the basis of advertised incentives such as pay scale; environment; benefit package and location.
- When was the last time you heard a preacher speak so passionately, so comprehensively, so elaborately and precisely on what God has to offer all men?

- Show me a glimpse of what beholding You; hearing You; touching You and unlimited unfeigned access to You will be like.
- Make clear to my heart the vastness of what You have promised those who forsake all to follow You.
- Let this revelation make my heart conscious and in a state of preparedness of Your coming.
- Grant me a perpetual hunger and thirst to behold and be a partaker of the new Jerusalem despite our present chaotic world.
- Help me dig deep in Your Word to understand what You have said regarding Your second coming. Let this knowledge keep me hoping and grounded. Let this understanding prompt me to proclaim Your earnest coming.
We Shall Behold Him
The sky shall unfold, preparing His entrance
The stars shall applaud Him with thunders of praise
The sweet light in His eyes shall enhance those awaiting
And we shall behold Him, then face to face
O we shall behold Him, yes, we shall behold Him
Face to face in all of His glory
O we shall behold Him, yes, we shall behold Him
Face to face, our Savior and Lord
The angel will sound the shout of His coming
And the sleeping shall rise from their slumbering place
And those remaining shall be changed in a moment
And we shall behold him, then face to face
We shall behold Him, yes, we shall behold Him
Face to face in all of His glory
We shall behold Him, yes, we shall behold Him
Face to face, our Savior and Lord
We shall behold Him, our Savior and Lord
Savior and Lord!
